Invalid examples
[edit]The examples in the article do not conform to RFC 4151. The RFC allows only internet domain names and email addresses as authority names, not URLs. Thus, "en.wikipedia.org" is a valid authority name, "en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Example" is not. The example has the additional problem that the authority name contains a colon, which creates ambiguity as to where the tagging entity ends.

- It's more a question of which applications support tag-URI. YAML is the best example. Doug Ewell (talk) 17:11, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
